Talk of poems and prayers and promises and things that we believe in

How sweet it is to love someone,

how right it is to care

How long it’s been since yesterday and what

about tomorrow?

What about our dreams and all the memories

we share?

-John Denver

Poems, Prayers and Promises

Lately we have witnessed a Community in a gathering of people. Some of us have gathered on the streets in L.A., Chicago and SLC. The fierce abundance of our spirit is empowering and gives us hope.

Michael and I took a trip to Stillwater, Oklahoma to visit with friends and share in the celebration of a 60th birthday. Dancing with a community of folks who love one another and will do anything to help each other out.

A gathering of 35 years of memories and yet, we laugh like no time has passed at all.

The days they pass so quickly now, nights are

seldom long

Time around me whispers when it's cold

The changes somehow frighten me, still I have to smile

It turns me on to think of growing old

Talk of poems and prayers and promises and things that we believe in

How sweet it is to love someone, how

right it is to care

How long it's been since yesterday and

what about tomorrow?

What about our dreams and all the

memories we share?

Listen HERE to the morning sounds of a bird community

Gather with your friends

Take time to tell them how much they mean to you.

Celebrate them home.
