“In practicing yoga over the past two decades many instructors have said that we should make yoga our own practice. Amy is the first instructor where I truly do feel as if this is true.
The guidance and peace she offers during her retreats brings reassurance, allowing a true sense of self to evolve. Each time I am at retreat with Amy I go home a better version of myself.”

Testimonials
“Over the years, I have participated in several yoga workshops facilitated by Amy Conn. Amy has the ability to connect with people across the lifespan and always seems to tailor her readings, intentions and movements to the specific participants. Recently, Amy has been hosting a series of workshops designed to revitalize our bodies and minds while also providing a space for community and conversation. She chose readings that grounded our minds to the present and invited the listener to set aside outside influences. This allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the movements. By providing tea and chocolate at the end of the yoga session, she allowed space for new connections. Somehow, Amy does this with humility and acceptance.”

“My experience with the recent Yoga and Art Day Retreat was memorable. The instructors were phenomenal in combining the embodying practice of yoga with the earthiness of painting from our inner selves. It was transformative and I will never view yoga or painting in the same way. I highly recommend the retreat and these intuitive and engaging instructors.”

Art and Yoga, what a perfect combination! I have been a participant in two workshops this past year offered by Amy and her Guest Artists. Both have been unique, relaxing, creative and FUN!
The HAY (Horses, Art, Yoga) gave us an opportunity to interact with the beautiful, wild Mustangs at Wild Heart Mustang Ranch. This was a rare time to be still, journal and feel the energy of these tremendous beings. Artwork explored different natural scenes (both real and imagined) with multiple media to create our original works of art.
Art and Yoga, with Guest Artist Samantha (?) DaSilva was a chance to explore painting and creating art without brushes, fear or expectations (Not an easy concept.). We painted with wood chips, added sand and plaster to vary colors and textures. It was fun and freeing playing with color, textures from our environment and getting paint on our hands.
Amy’s yoga is trauma aware, easily adaptable to different abilities, gentle, and challenging, giving participants moments of peace and safety to explore our creativity, honor our unique bodies and feel our own strength.
The vegetarian lunches provided are filling, delicious and a perfect compliment to the Workshop.
I highly recommend these Workshops to anyone who is new or old to a Yoga practice and wants to take the opportunity for some much-needed self-care and creativity.
Thank you!

I first attended a retreat with Amy Conn this past September. It was a Yoga & Writing retreat that was suggested to me by a close friend. I was nervous leading up to the event, not knowing what to expect or if I would be prepared. The experience was beyond my expectations - Amy teaches with an open and generous approach and is simply a natural, authentic teacher. My 22 year old daughter joined me and we both had an amazing and memorable time. I felt both challenged and held. Amy’s approach is nurturing and empowering. The pace and flow of the retreat was perfect. I loved the aspect of both yoga and writing, the combination was complementary, each practice adding value to the other. The setting, the accommodations, the people and the food were all lovely.
Time well spent & I look forward to more opportunities. So glad I was able to be a part of this.
