Time to Ride!

Welcome!

February 15–19, 2024

Moab, Utah

Petroglyph House

We will journey together over these few beautiful days absorbing the landscape of the Southern Utah deserts.

Together we will experience the offerings of the natural world’s invitation of rebirth.

Kayden McInnis and Amy Conn will guide you through a journey of Horseback Riding, Natural Horsemanship, Writing, Meditation and Yoga.

There is a special kind of magic that occurs when one is around horses surrounded by nature - we want to offer you this magical opportunity this winter.

Our intention for this retreat is to offer you movement, both literally and figuratively—movement of the body, movement of the mind, movement of the soul. We intend to help you find flow and inspiration as you disconnect from the responsibilities and distractions that keep your project on the back burner. We will guide  you to connect with your body, your creative center, and to connect with other writers to become enlivened, refreshed and available to your creative life.

When our body is calm,

our mind is ready

In immersing in embodying practices such as yoga, meditation, writing and a relationship with nature, you are giving yourself a depth of experience that integrates into your life.

Our journey will include time cultivating the mythic, sensual and healing connection with horses. Horses live in the realm of myth and the heart, vital for making us more human. This connection can lead and inspire our creative wild selves and bring us more home.

Please join us for this unique pairing this February.
