Winter Chill Special

Happy Holidays!

I hope that you’re enjoying the colder weather and able to keep your holiday cheer, despite how busy this time of year seems to get.

Here’s a “Wintertime Chill” breathing exercise, perfect to help your mind and heart to chill out while it’s chilly outside.

The next time you are walking and it’s cold outside and maybe you’re feeling a bit of stress from life and or the holidays, try taking a long, slow, and deep breath in then exhale slowly and allow all your troubles to float away with the cloud of your breath. Do this 4 or 5 times and you’ll be sure to feel a bit better.

Then later, while you’re warming yourself by the fire, calm and cool as an icicle, eggnog or mulled wine in hand, call up your bestie and tell them that you just got a little “insider information” from one San T. Clauz and his merry band of elves that my Riders and Writers retreat in Moab, Utah is happening February 15–19th and when you sign up together, you each save $50.

True as tinsel.

Wait, what is this retreat thing?

Well, you’re invited to a life-changing retreat where over a few days together we will absorb the outer landscapes of Southern Utah while exploring the inner landscapes of body, mind, and spirit.

We’ll practice yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation, as well as embodied writing practices and Natural Horsemanship.

I’ve rented a BEAUTIFUL property in Moab, Utah called the Petroglyph House (gotta see the pics) because we can explore ancient petroglyphs on a hike which we can take directly from the house.

I’m teaming up with my friend and collaborator Kaydean Baker McInnis. She’s a cultural mythologist, creative writer, and has a PhD in Mythological Studies and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She’s expert at creating inspired, safe spaces where the wild unconscious emerges, shedding light on our individual and collective soul work through embodied writing practices and the natural world.

I know, right?!

Plus, I'm bringing my daughter, Abigale, who is a certified Natural Horsemanship instructor. You’ll have the opportunity to either go on a 3-hour horse ride or to simply do horse therapy and not ride.

What could be better?!

Whether it’s through movement, writing, hiking, landscapes, horses, incredible food, or beautiful friendships, you’re sure to emerge from these few days together a better version of yourself, ready to return to your life, full of vitality, wonder, and joy.

So send a little holiday cheer to your bestie and register you both for this retreat.

Save $50 if you register with a friend before December 25th.

Unfortunately, spots are limited but so far there’s still a spot for you.

Please reach out with questions.
