Mountain Yoga Getaway
Hey, how are you? I hope your week is starting off great.
I’m just getting back into the swing of things having returned from not one but TWO camps for which I was a program staff …oh and not to mention the 38 days and 550 miles of trekking along The Camino on my pilgrimage.
Now, I’m looking forward to the re-entry into “normal life” and Michael and I are looking forward to those things we love about this season namely, a new school year, Oktoberfest, and drinking in my absolute favorite season of autumn.
One of the things I’m looking forward to the most this autumn is the chance to share an autumn get-away with you in the beautiful Unita Mountains during my Riders and Writers retreat (September 23–25). It’s going to be amazing and I would love you to join me!
I’m hosting this retreat at the ranch and home of my good friend Chas Ranch in Woodland, Utah. Chas is such a gem of a person and I absolutely adore his ranch. I’ve hosted several other retreats up there, each one more magical than the last.
One of the things I love about his ranch is that it’s nestled right up against protected land and there is no shortage of unspoiled mountain landscapes to calm your senses and quiet your mind. Chas built an enormous deck out back so we can practice yoga in the open air while looking out at the quiet and pristine mountains. Heaven! Plus, I’ve planned this retreat at the perfect time when the fall leaves will be at their peak. This is the ideal time of year to be there and I would love to share this unique experience with you.
This retreat will be full of connection to self, others, the landscape not to mention connection with beautiful horses that you can either ride, groom, or appreciate from afar if you’re nervous about horses. We’ll eat great food, explore our outer and inner landscape through writing, movement, hiking/horseback riding and meditation, and likely make some life-long friends in the process.
Space is very limited but I want you to be there. You can opt to sleep inside in a cozy pine-long bunk or camp outside in a tent. Please reserve your spot before they get snatched up. Look at the details here.
I hope you’re enjoying your summer. Please drop me a line and let me know what you’re up to.
Namaste,
Amy
