Spaces LEFT (You should be one of them!)
It’s no surprise that many yoga teachers and practitioners are also artists. Yoga and the arts are wonderfully complementary, intuitive disciples rich in creativity and rooted in self-expression. Each pose often tells a story; asana sequences and kriyas can be perceived as choreographed flows; and the deep experiences many have on the mat can be as evocative of feeling as witnessing a wondrous piece of art.
“Yoga is ultimately a philosophy (a practice) that, in fact, very close to that of the ancient Greeks. It is a science that benefits the body and the soul. It is an art, a practice of connecting where the mind, the body, the soul interconnect and act as one. Of course, yoga is above all an art form like dance, music and painting. It is a creative action that transforms humans.”

Enjoy a wonderful creative day filled with the things you long for but rarely have the opportunity, the time, the place to practice: Yoga, Art and great food with new and familiar friends all in one lovely afternoon!
Ahhh!
(Don’t you feel relaxed already?)
Samantha Dasilva and Amy Conn invite you to a day where your brain is allowed to ease its busy-ness of the day enough so that creative juices can flow from your heart to your hand onto a canvas.
Guided by a nationally acclaimed local artist, Samantha will expertly teach you a combination of technique and inspiration to allow your natural skills (perhaps some you were not aware of) to flow onto a canvas that you can call all your own.
Amy will set the mood through a grounding pranayama practice, vinyasa flow and closing with a guided meditation. Oftentimes the ‘Monkey Brain’ within our mind extends throughout our body, when suddenly we find ourselves accustomed to agitation on a regular basis; allow Amy to introduce stillness, calm and creative flow to your body, mind and spirit.
Just when you think the day couldn’t get any more magical, we will feed you a catered organic vegetarian meal to fill up your body while you’re filling up your soul.
